Laura Prepon (born March 7, 1980) is an American actress, best known for her role as Donna Pinciotti on the Fox television series That '70s Show.

Biography
Prepon was born and raised in Watchung, New Jersey,[1] the youngest of four children in a family of Russian Jewish and Irish Catholic descent. She is 5 feet 10 inches tall. Her acting experience was limited prior to her audition for That '70s Show. Her first job was a 1995 television commercial for MCI. In 1996 she studied drama with acting teacher Caroline Thomas at Thomas' Total Theatre Lab. In September 1997, she premiered on a Levi Strauss-developed show called They Go On, an Internet-based soap opera. Prior to being cast on That '70s Show, she also spent some time as a model in Paris, Milan, and Brazil.
She has graced the cover of
Maxim twice — once with her natural
red hair and once with her hair dyed
blonde — and has done a TV advertisement for
Gap clothing with director
Johan Renck, although it was never aired. Prepon was an
executive producer of
Robert Hall's debut film
Lightning Bug.
Other projects
Prepon had a cameo voice appearance as a United Nations Space Command marine in Halo 2, released in 2004. She was the voice of the marine on the level "Metropolis" who walked up to the player with a shotgun and stated "It's tight quarters on the other side chief, use this."[citation needed]
Prepon was an executive producer of E! Hollywood Hold'em and hosted the program's first game.
The 2006 movie Karla starring Prepon caused a substantial stir in Canada. The movie is based on the true story of Canadian serial killers Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo.
Prepon can be seen in the new
ABC show
October Road, which debuted
March 15. 2007, playing the feature role of
Hannah.
In April 2007, She starred in a short film, Once Upon A Time, in partners with the East Coast team Girls In The Directors Chair, sponsored by Dreaming Tree Films and Stayfree. The Film went on to win in the showdown between West and East Coast. The cast and crew celebrated at the premiere in New York City, also participating in an award ceremony and conference.
She can also be seen in the Oxygen movie, Romancing the Bride.
In February 2008, Prepon mentioned in an interview with AskMen.com she would seriously think about posing for Playboy if she gets an offer.
Personal life
Laura began dating Christopher Masterson (younger brother of former That '70s Show co-star Danny Masterson),[2], in 2000 and they moved in together in 2001. The pair split in late 2007.
