Woo is an American romantic comedy film released on May 8, 1998. It was directed by Daisy von Scherler Mayer, whose other films include The Guru and Party Girl. The cast included Jada Pinkett Smith in the title role of Woo and Tommy Davidson as the male lead Tim. Tupac Shakur was scheduled to appear in the film, but died before taking on a role.

Made on a budget of $13 million, Woo grossed only $8 million. It premiered in 625 theaters across the US, ranking 6th in its first night but falling steadily thereafter. [1]
