Thomas Andrew Felton (born September 22, 1987) is an English actor.
Born in Kensington, London, he grew up in Epsom with his mother, Sharon, his father, Peter, and his three older brothers, Jonathan, Chris, and Ashley. He was educated at West Horsley's Cranmore School until the age of 13 and later went on to graduate from Howard of Effingham in 2004. Felton first came to attention in 1995 when he was featured in a number of television commercials. He shot to fame, however, in 1996 when he played the part of Peagreen Clock in Peter Hewitt's The Borrowers and later as Louis Leonowens in the film Anna and the King, starring alongside Jodie Foster. As of 2001 he has become internationally known for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy the bully and the enemy of Harry Potter in all of the Harry Potter films.
Felton has participation in several
TV series to his credit, performing the voice of James on
Bugs in
1995, a brief stint in
1999 in
Farm Home Twins as Adam Baker, and playing witness Thomas Ingham opposite
Clive Owen in
Second Sight, also in
1999. A further appearance in Second Sight 2 followed in
2000.
