The Best of Mandy Moore is a greatest hits compilation album featuring songs from Mandy Moore, released in 2004.
History
Mandy Moore was reportedly displeased that the collection featured songs from her first two albums since she disowned that period of her career. The compilation didn't receive any promotion, and landed at #148 in the U.S.
Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It has gained Silver status in
Australia, where Moore is a bigger star. This was her final release from
Epic Records, released several months after she signed to the
Sire Records. The DVD additionally featured music videos and live performances.
This album wasn't released worldwide.
The album has sold 91,000 to date.
DVD Music Video Note: For an unknown reason, the Walk Me Home music video is edited from its original version. The plotline about how Mandy is actually day dreaming about being with the guy in the video is gone.
