Teri Shields (born 1933 in Newark, New Jersey), born Maria Theresia Schmon (sometimes credited as Schmonn), is an American actress, film producer and a former model.

Teri was married to Francis Alexander Shields in 1964; in 1965 she gave birth to their only child, a daughter, actress Brooke Shields.

Later, the couple divorced.

Teri acted alongside her daughter in Wanda Nevada, Endless Love, and Backstreet Dreams.
