CareerBaldwin directed and produced Livin' It and Livin' It LA films that focus on Christian athletes involved in extreme sports and evangelism. Currently working with the Luis Palau ministry, Baldwin is launching his own Breakthrough Ministry, in January 2007 in San Diego. Called "Uprising!", Baldwin's ministry will feature skateboarding and extreme sports, Christian rock concerts, laser light shows and fireworks.
His book Unusual Suspect details his conversion to Christian fundamentalism. It made it onto the New York Times bestseller list. In 2006, Baldwin starred in The Genius Club for writer/director Tim Chey. The film is about seven geniuses who try to solve the world's problems in a single night. Personal lifeIn 2001 and 2002, he was a frequent caller into "The Ron and Fez Show" before they moved from New York City to Washington D.C. He was baptized a Roman Catholic, but became a born-again Christian shortly after the 9/11 attacks. Since his turn to Christianity he is on a mission to evangelize the youth of the nation through projects such as The Breakthrough Ministry He talks frequently about his conversion experience, which involved a middle-aged Brazilian housekeeper.
In his book Baldwin's expressed the opinion that "You (Bono) would do far more good if you just preached the gospel of Jesus rather than trying to get rid of Third World debt." He currently resides in the village of Nyack, New York, with his wife, Kennya, and their family. In 2006, he launched a campaign to prevent an adult bookstore from opening on the outskirts of the village. After mobilizing much of the county's religious base to the cause, Baldwin lent his support to a petition filed in New York Supreme Court by a group calling itself the Catholic Citizenship, and succeeded in quashing the store. In 2006 and 2007 he has made calls to the radio talk show Lionel, the host of which advocates a skeptical view of religion, to tell his story and promote his religious beliefs. Filmography
