Biography
Doumit was a
Dean's list and
honor roll student at
Emerson College before attending the
California Institute of the Arts. She graduated from CalArts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre/Acting.
She is a first-generation
Lebanese American; her father emigrated to America from
Beirut,
Lebanon.
She has played as stage actress in KY2 in 2000 and in October 2005, she performed "Not to Fear" in the Half-Hour From Home: Cal-Arts Alumni at Barnsdall (organized by Cal-Arts) with Erik Contreras, Tony Nazem and Rainbow Underhill. In 2006, She played in the Shakespeare's play The Taming of the Shrew in Los Angeles, directed by her husband Erik Contreras.
She has appeared on TV in Passions (2005), LAX (2005), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2004), Dawson's Creek (2003), Boston Public (2002), ER (2001), Brutally Normal (2000), Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show (2000), Undressed (1999), and Beverly Hills 90210 (1998).
She has appeared in the film
The Hot Chick with
Rob Schneider and
Adam Sandler as well as in independent films like
The Utopian Society with
Austin Nichols and
Malin Akerman, directed by John P. Aguirre. She is featured in the
Zed video clip "Starlight", included on
The Hot Chick DVD. In the CSI episode "Suckers" she showed her
pierced tongue.
According to IMDB she is the face of the SuicideGirls logo. Doumit married Erik Contreras on September 3,2005.
