Patrick Wilson (born July 3 1973) is an Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated American theater and film actor and singer.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Wilson graduated from Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg, Florida and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His father John and his brother Mark both work as FOX news anchors for WTVT-TV in Tampa, Florida. His other brother Paul heads an advertising firm in the area. His mother Mary K. Wilson is a voice teacher and professional singer.
In June 2005, Patrick married Polish-American actress
Dagmara Dominczyk, also a
Carnegie Mellon graduate. (He graduated in 1995 with a drama degree; she graduated in 1998.) Their first child, Kalin Patrick Wilson, was born on
June 23 2006.
In
March 2007, Wilson appeared with
Claire Danes in a television commercial for
Gap in which the pair dances to the song "
Anything You Can Do" from the musical
Annie Get Your Gun.
