Due to its lyrics, it is thought the song "Jealousy" is directed at Nicole Richie. However, Hilton and Richie have reconciled already, since October of 2006.
The song "Screwed" was leaked to the Internet in 2003. However, Haylie Duff had also recorded a version of the song and had planned to use it on her planned debut album. This caused a dispute between Paris's label and Haylie's label. Haylie was eventually dropped from her label, giving Paris the rights to re-record and release the song on the album.
"Don't Touch It" was previously posted on a fake Paris Hilton MySpace profile, and was thought to not actually be by Hilton herself. It is reported that "Don't Touch It" is actually a rough mix by UK artist Jennifer Ellison.
The album has had a few rumored titles including Paris Is Burning, 1 Crazy Party,Paris Hilton and Screwed.
The entire album was posted to the internet on August 132006 via AOL Music; 9 days before the official release date.
Prior to the release of the album, a few demos leaked including a demo for "Screwed" (in 2004) and, in 2006, demo versions of "I Want You" and "Turn You On" featuring session singer Taura "Aura" Jackson's guide vocal track for Paris Hilton.
Some of the tracks have been recorded at Conway studios in Hollywood.

There has been much discussion among Paris's fans about what song is actually the second single from the album. Many believe that "Turn It Up" was the second single. In fact, "Nothing In This World" is the second single, as confirmed in the "news" section of Hilton's official album site. The site reads, "Make sure to check out the new video for Paris' second single, 'Nothing In This World'!" "Turn It Up" was released to clubs only.
www.parisexposed.com featured an unauthorized release of "What You Do to Me." It was leaked to many Paris Hilton forums. This song was most likely for personal use and was never meant to be an album track. Paris' vocal quality in "What You Do to Me" is very poor in contrast with her commercial album.
The album debuted at #6 and then dropped to #36 the next week. The album later dropped out of the Billboard 200 after only six weeks.
