Mark Addy (born January 14, 1964 in York, England) is a British actor. He played Bill Miller in Still Standing. He played Detective Boyle in the second series of the Britcom The Thin Blue Line and also appeared in A Knight's Tale as Roland.
He also had a
supporting role in the film
The Full Monty, and played the role of
Fred Flintstone in the
2000 film The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas. In that role, as well as in
Still Standing, he showed his ability to imitate a blue-collar American accent. He also played a
supporting role and as Mac McArthur in the 1998 film
Jack Frost, with
Michael Keaton. He also played a butler of
Chris Rock's character in the movie
Down to Earth. Currently, Addy is playing Kevin Snell in the play "
Donkeys' Years" at the
Comedy Theatre in London, and appearing on ITV1's new high-class comedy drama series "Bonkers".
