Los lunes al sol ('Mondays in the Sun') is a 2002 Spanish film directed by Fernando León de Aranoa and starring Javier Bardem that talks about shipyard crisis in Vigo, Galicia. The film won five Goya Awards in 2003, including the awards for Best Film, Best Director and Best Lead Actor.

The film depicts the degrading effects of unemployment on a group of men left jobless by the closure of the shipyards in a northern Spanish town: Santa (Bardem), the unofficial leader of the group; Amador (Celso Bugallo), who has degenerated into alcoholism and become estranged from his wife; Reina (Enrique Villén), who has managed to find a job as a security guard; and José (Luis Tosar), who is twisted by bitterness that his wife is employed when he is not, even though her job in a cannery leaves her constantly smelling of fish. The men drink away their days in a bar owned by Rico (Joaquín Climent), himself a former shipbuilder.
