Little Giants is a 1994 family comedy movie, which starred Rick Moranis and Ed O'Neill as brothers in a small Ohio town, coaching rival Pee-Wee Football teams.
Synopsis
Danny O'Shea (Rick Moranis) has always lived in the shadow of his older brother, Kevin (Ed O'Neill), the famous College star. After retiring, Kevin moves back to Urbania, Ohio (their home town) and coaches the local pee-wee football team. Danny's daughter, Becky, played by Shawna Waldron, is cut from Kevin's team (because she's a girl), despite her being the best player. She convinces her dad to coach a pee-wee team comprised of misfits, named "The Giants", and beat Kevin's team (The Cowboys).
Danny accepts in an attempt to show Urbania that Kevin is not invincible, and that there is another O'Shea in town. Danny picks a team of players that have never been given a chance, and Kevin reminds him of the "one town, one team" rule. They have a playoff to determine who should be the "one team", with a wager. If Danny wins, he gets Kevin's dealership; if Kevin wins, he gets Danny's gas station. When the Cowboys and Giants match up in an exhibition game, Kevin is stunned to see his team of super-stars lose to a bunch of misfits. The trick play that wins the game for the Giants is called "the annexation of Puerto Rico."
Kevin pleads with Danny to let him keep the dealership, and Danny tells him he would never throw his brother on the street. The story ends with Danny and Kevin looking up at a water-tower that formerly said "Urbania, Home of Kevin O'Shea" now reading "Urbania, Home of the O'Shea Brothers."

Trivia
- Both the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys made it to the playoffs in the 1993-94 season. However, the Cowboys made it to the Super Bowl and defeated the Buffalo Bills, while the Giants lost on the Divisional Playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers.
- The number players that linebacker Becky "Icebox" O'Shea (#56) and quarterback Junior Floyd (#11) are the numbers of former Giants Lawrence Taylor and Phil Simms while Briggs (#8), Patterson (#22) and Murphy (#48) wear are those of now former Cowboys Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Daryl "Moose" Johnston respectively.
- Kevin and Danny O'Shea were also the names of two brothers formerly in the National Hockey League
