Jesus is a fictional charcters in the animated series South Park one of the residents is He had his own show called Jesus and Pals. He was killed while fighting Iraqis during an attempt to rescue Santa on Christmas Eve in "Red Sleigh Down." This was the last time Jesus was seen on the show till he was "resurrected" 5 years later in the eleventh season episode "Fantastic Easter Special." He is voiced by Matt Stone.

In The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka (Episode), Jesus' show entered a ratings war with Jimbo Kern and Ned Gerblansky's hunting programme "Huntin' and Killin'". Jesus' producer then tried to revamp the show and use the trick Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny used on Jimbo and Ned as a talk topic with them as guests to increase ratings. Jesus vs. SantaIn this second short Jesus arrives from Heaven to seek retribution. He wants to get rid of Santa once and for all since people don't see Christmas as Jesus' birthday anymore. With help from Brian Boitano, the boys tell Jesus that Santa is keeping his birthday alive and they tell Santa if it wasn't for Jesus there wouldn't be a Christmas. Some footage from this short was used in the episode A Very Crappy Christmas. Role in South ParkWith his show, "Jesus and Palls" (see above), Jesus is a prominant character in the early two seasons of South Park. Later on, he appears less frequently, though he is a key character in the following episodes: Are You There, God? It's Me, JesusAt the millennium Jesus' followers wanted to see God. God wouldn't agree to showing himself so Jesus put on a special show with Rod Stewart in Vegas. The show went horribly wrong and just as Jesus was about to be crucified again God appeared. Jesus' death in this episode marked his end as a reocurring character in South Park for five seasons. At the end of this episode Kenny returned (having been killed off for a year from a terminal disease in Kenny Dies), when asked how did Kenny return, the people at the official South Park website sarcastically replied:
Fantastic Easter SpecialIn this Easter-themed spoof of the Da Vinci Code, Jesus is resurrected. He returns in order to prevent members of the Catholic Church killing a descendent of St Peter, the first pope.
