Jack Joseph Osbourne (born November 8, 1985 in London, England) is the son of musician Ozzy Osbourne. He has 3 sisters, Kelly Osbourne, Aimee Osbourne and Jessica Osbourne, and 2 brothers Louis John Osbourne and Robert Marcato (Kellys friend, adopted by Ozzy and Sharon when his own mother died of cancer) . He became known to the general public with his appearance on the TV show The Osbournes. At one time, he worked for Epic Records as a talent scout and assisted his mother Sharon in managing his father's annual touring festival, Ozzfest.
Osbourne made headlines in 2003, when he was admitted to drug rehab for an addiction to oxycodone.
After rehab, Osbourne went on to play a bit role in
New York Minute, a film starring the
Olsen twins. He also starred in his own show on
Channel 4 entitled
Union Jack and co-hosted the
ITV2 show,
Celebrity Wrestling:Bring It On!. Recently, Osbourne reported he is studying to earn a
GED. He is currently starring as a main character in the new reality television show '
Armed and Famous.'
Osbourne got in shape and lost a lot of weight in
Thailand at a
Muay Thai martial arts camp in
Pattaya. He once claimed to be considering a career in
law enforcement.
Osbourne's show, Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie is now on its second series, airing on ITV2 in the UK, the Travel Channel in the United States, The LifeStyle Channel in Australia and on MuchMusic in Canada. Adrenaline Junkie focuses on Osbourne's training for extreme sports like rock climbing and mountaineering. After he finished the first series, he began filling in for Stephen Mulhern on CITV's Saturday morning kids' show Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown (the show has now ended). He enjoys heavy metal.
Jack took part in Sport Relief and faced former Singer Richard Proffitt in a boxing match of three rounds of one minute each to raise money for the charity. Jack won by a unanimous decision.
21 Years Gone is the title of Jack's recently published autobiography. It was first published on 2nd October 2006 in the UK.
