Headington School is an independent girls' school in Headington, Oxford, England founded in 1915. The main school is a secondary school for girls aged 11–18. The school has boarders (full, weekly and flexible boarding) and day girls. The Headmistress is Anne Coutts. The school motto is 'AΓΩNIZOY TON KAΛON AΓΩNA THΣ ΠIΣTEΩΣ', a quotation (in Koine Greek) from 1 Timothy 6.12, meaning 'Fight the Good Fight of Faith'. 'Fight the Good Fight' is also the school song. There is a newly built theatre, with visiting drama groups and music concerts, which is a good way of encouraging a love of drama to the school. Other new buildings include the Dining Room, extensive Art Department and three new laboratories.

There is also a feeder school, Headington Junior School for girls aged 3–11 (and also boys aged 3–4).

The school's most famous attendee is Emma Watson, the actress who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series of films. Emma was one of her school's Rock Challenge 2007 leaders.

Brian Eno's daughter, Darla, currently attends Headington. His other daughter, Irial, left Headington this year.

Simon Jackson's (famous Gynaecologist) daughters, Rebecca and Clare attend the school also. Clare was in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe in 2006.

Lilly, the daughter of the comedian Rowan Atkinson attended the Junior School but left in July 2006 to join her brother at a school in Northampton.

Two of Eugene McNally (author of Practical Musculoskeletal Ultrasound)'s children are currently enrolled at Headington, Lise and Rebecca have both attended the school since infancy. Lise was in a National Connections performance (2007)
