Plot summary

A baseball legend, almost finished with his distinguished career at the age of 40, has one last chance to prove who he is, what he is capable of, and win the heart of the woman he has loved for the past four years.

Kevin Costner plays a Major League pitcher playing in his last professional game for the Detroit Tigers, in the midst of throwing a perfect game at Yankee Stadium, flashes back to memories of his long time girlfriend.
