Plot
Three months after a
one night stand in
Las Vegas, Alex and Isabel decide to get married (because she is pregnant with their child). Problems soon arise as they meet each others families, deal with work colleagues, and most importantly, get to know each other.
The major crisis in the movie is the couple learning to adapt to the culture of their new partner. Isabel is from a
Catholic Hispanic family, while Alex's comes from a
WASP household.
Trivia
- The opening scene of a river valley is not in central Mexico. It is the Columbia River Gorge on the Oregon-Washington border.
