Employee of the Month is a 2004 black comedy starring Matt Dillon and Christina Applegate.

Plot summary

Employee of the Month features David Walsh (Dillon), a bank employee whose day begins badly when he gets fired from his dream job. After being dumped by his fiancee Sara Goodwin (Applegate) soon after, can his day get any worse? During this time David is on his way to nirvana.
