In that pageant, Boatwright won the preliminary competition and also the interview and swimsuit competitions on finals night. She finished first runner-up to Ali Landry of Louisiana,[2] making her one of the most successful delegates to compete in both competitions. ModelingDuring the Miss Teen USA pageant, Boatwright was introduced to an international modeling scout, and started a career as a model. She has traveled as an international model in different countries including Italy, England, Germany, France, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, and Tunisia. In 2005, Boatwright competed in Survivor: Guatemala, the eleventh season of reality television show Survivor. At first she was in a strong position but lost this edge after being forced to switch tribes. She played a tactical game and cleverly avoiding elimination following the tribal merge despite being vulnerable for much of the series. By winning a critical auction item and immunity she made the final two and chose Stephenie LaGrossa to compete against at the final tribal council.[1] Boatwright won the final vote 6-1 and became the Sole Survivor, for which she received $1 million.[3][4] Biography
Boatwright was married to country music singer Wade Hayes. The couple is now divorced. She is currently dating Casey Wiegmann who plays center for the Kansas City Chiefs.[2] She currently lives in Tonganoxie, Kansas, and is an on air personality for KCSP, also known as 610 Sports in Kansas City. She is the co-host of Sports Rap every Sunday from 10:00 to noon. She also appears on The Fantasy Show on ESPN2. References
