Anna Katherine Popplewell (born 16 December 1988) is an English actress. She is best known for her role as Susan Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia film series.

Biography
Personal life
Popplewell is the oldest of three children born to Andrew (a barrister) and Deborah (an immunologist); her paternal grandfather, Sir Oliver Popplewell, was a former High Court judge. Her two siblings, Freddie Popplewell and Lulu, are also actors.
She lives in
London and attends
North London Collegiate School, a prestigious girls' school, where she is in the second year of A Levels. She is Head Girl of the school, for the academic year 2006/7.
Although she was in New Zealand filming Prince Caspian, she went back for Founders Day (30/3/07) at NLCS.[citation needed]
Popplewell has a conditional place to study English at Magdalen College, Oxford.[citation needed]
Career
Popplewell began acting at the age of six, taking classes at the Allsorts Drama School. She began acting professionally in the TV production Frenchman's Creek in 1998. She made her film debut in 1999 in the film Mansfield Park and has since appeared in supporting roles in films like The Little Vampire (2000) and Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003).
Her first major role was in the film
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005). She is scheduled to reprise her role as Susan Pevensie in the sequel,
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, due in theaters Summer 2008.
