Agent M (whose real name is Emily Whitehurst, born July 1979) grew up in Los Banos and was the lead singer of the California based punk band Tsunami Bomb until their breakup in September of 2005. She is the sister of the late Logan Whitehurst, a musician with numerous solo and album credits.

She and former Tsunami Bomb bassist Matt Mckenzie have recently formed the band, The Action Design, along with drummer Brett Friesen from Ariel Mile.

Her favorite bands include Green Day and The Smiths. Emily says her dream duet would be with Billie Joe Armstrong, lead singer of Green Day. She is reportedly also a fan of the band Glassjaw and Daryl Palumbo's subsequent band, Head Automatica.

Her favorite Tsunami Bomb songs to perform live are Russian Roulette, El Diablo and .....Not Forever. Whitehurst has declared her new band, The Action Design, as different from Tsunami Bomb and appears to have adopted a more experimental approach with her new band.

She appears on the Guttermouth record Gusto, featuring on My Town and Twins. When Tsunami Bomb supported The Bouncing Souls on tour, Agent M performed a song with them.

She also performed guest vocal on her brother Logan's album, Goodbye, My 4-Track.
