I actually preferred this film to the first one. While the first sometimes felt like a rip-off of American Pie (it's never wise for a comedy to steal a joke wholesale from another comedy), Another Gay Sequel dares to push the envelope of taste and decency right over the edge. I watched it in a packed cinema in Cardiff during the Iris Festival, and laughed very hard throughout.
Don't get me wrong, it's not Fellini, but then it never sets out to be a work of high art. It's gross, filthy, and very, very funny. Despite the change of cast, it feels like a more polished product than the first film, too. Some of the set pieces, especially the Golden Showers musical sequence, are visually stunning.
While I found the sentiment in the first film cloying (given how outrageous the rest of the film was), they've toned it down in the sequel - a good move, in my opinion.

If you have a great sense of humour, then watch this movie, if you don't, then don't bother. I for one, do have great sense of humour. So you'll understand, when my friends and I watched this movie, we almost wet ourselves from laughing. Yes, its a bit crude and a bit sick in parts, but thats what made it funny. Is it as funny as Another Gay Movie, to some yes, for me it's about the same. We all did miss the guys from the first movie, but hey, thats life. So go on, get your friends round, get the booze out and enjoy. xxx

Having enjoyed 'Another Gay Movie' immensely, I had high hopes for this DVD but dearie, dearie me!! How on earth did this pile of dog poo ever get a release? Paper-thin 'plot', grotesque characters (I could have gladly brained the irritating and obnoxiously camp Nico character!), third rate script, fourth rate 'acting' and crude, testeless references to vomit, crabs, golden showers etc...the list is endless. Frankly, I couldn't wait for the movie to end but stuck with it in the vain hope that it might actually improve at some point. Please, do yourself a favour - save your time and money and avoid this turd at all costs!

This is a huge disappointment due to a rubbish script, an an inferior replacement cast! The first movie was excellent. Funny, original and a breakthrough in low-budget gay movies in that Another Gay Movie didn't once make excuses for the strong celebratory gay content. It was a sex comedy in the style of Porkies aimed at a young gay market that still managed to have depth.
The follow up tries to do the same, but there's too many fingers in too many pies. A lot of sad, tacky gay celebrities squabble over the size of their cameos at the expense of the plot, and the tight budget can't cope. Crude unfunny references to water sports, incest and crabs. It was bad enough to have to watch most of it on fast forward. The first movie meanwhile has been watched and enjoyed by us an our friends loads of times. This will go into the bin. Im not kidding Avoid!!!!
