This is an awesome interval training DVD. As with my other workout DVDs, I saw the preview at collagevideo and read the reviews there. Love this DVD! Anyone can fit in 20 minutes! There are 3 levels of workouts that are about 20 minutes each. Within each level, there are 2 ladies to watch and emulate - one advanced and one modified. Great pointers and motivation from Jillian. If you get tired of her talking, there is a music only option! LOL

I am a pretty intense fitness person - I have run half-marathons, I swim competitively, and spin...and yet this DVD was a humbling experience. I am about half way through the 30 days, and have just managed to get to Level 3. I can't believe how much stronger I am since I started this workout; especially the muscles in my core, and my arms - lots of definition and toning after only 15 days. Although I have not lost any weight (wasn't my goal), I have definitely lost inches around my waist along with great muscle definition. I'm looking forward to the next 15 days :0) Does anyone have a recommendation for one of Jillian's DVD's that focuses on lower body toning (ie: thighs, hips)?

I recently bought the 30 day shred a few weeks ago and I am currently on the second level and on my 19th day. I did level 1 for 10 days then went up to level 2. I have to say Jillian is a tough trainer the first day or two when I started the shred I was soooo unbelieveably sore the next day i couldnt even walk. I had never been that sore from just going to the gym. So definately I feel it working my muscles. Although some people have been on the shred for only a few days they said they have lost anywhere from 2-14 lbs. I haven't lost any weight but i notice a my body firming up slightly, mind you i did just have a baby 4 months ago so it may take awhile for me to notice a big change. I'm also eating healthy so I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing half way through the shred? Please leave me a post. I've been doing the video straight with no rests in between other than the first day because i was so sore, and I have to say I have other workout videos and I have never stuck to them like I have with this one. I would definately recommend the 30 day shred, it's cheap, fun and a good way to get fit in a short amount of time 25 mins a day. Hopefully I lose more weight when I finish the shred. 11 more days!!!

This is an excellent exercise video. It's complete, and more importantly, short at 20 minutes. The routines are very easy to follow, with excellent pointers from Jillian. The exercises are very intense, but definitely getting results. I have not been doing the exercise everyday, but so far I have seen definite results, especially in my ab area.
