Customer Review: This movie got a bad rap when it first appeared. But it is in fact a delightfully witty satire on middle-Eastern foreign affairs bearing the irresistible comedic stamp of the incomparable Elaine May. Beatty ... Read More
Customer Review: I was just amazed and impressed with the director's attempt to convey the method of creation for a sculpture. I do not think he was successful other than letting me know it is extremely messy, models must always be freezing, ... Read More
Customer Review: I could honestly say that this is movie is the best movie I have ever seen, but that's been said already. What I would like to add is that it's not entirely about the divorce or political problems the directer was going through at the time, it is ... Read More
Customer Review: A sultry summer tale of revenge, violence, desire, sexuality and deception, this psychological thriller is gripping throughout. Shown from two different viewpoints and with the aid of flashbacks, it's long (2 1/4 hrs.) and fairly hard-to-follow upon first viewing ... Read More

Customer Review: Excellent psychological thriller and interesting look at Roman Polanski's early work in the trilogy of psychological thrillers. Films of this caliber are very rare anymore. I enjoyed this film very much and recommend it highly.
Customer Review: This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Great cinematography, excellent actors, a lot of realism, and historically based. It's not an American movie, so don't expect a pretty end. That is what I like about many foreign movies though, they are a lot less boringly predictable than American movies.
