Recently used these for a fishing/hiking trip. I wore them with my NB 1500 hiking boots. They felt very thin and didn't seem to have much cushion at all. After walking a short distance my feet hurt. I've worn my hiking boots before with various other socks and never had this issue. They might work for other people but they wont cut it for me.
