Braun Soft Perfection SE3170 Epilator, Pink  Rating: Rating:  - Great epilator!This is the best one I have tried so far. I actually bought it for my Mom, but did get to try it and it's great. I will be replacing my current one for this one for christmas. Rating: - good productI had never used an epilator or even waxed before this product other than eyebrow waxing. I do have a relatively high tolerance for pain and am fine with tattoos and piercings. I got it and was afraid to use it but when I did it was not even that painful. Keep in mind you are ripping hair from the root, which when you look at the hair that is removed you can see that it is from the root, so it is not pain free. It is relatively fast and does get most hairs. It does not work as good on short hairs as it does on longer hairs. The going rate for a bikini/full leg waxing where I am from is around 70 to 90 dollars so it is definitely worth it if you do get waxes. If you have ever had any waxing or tweezing done you know this pain and can expect relatively the same thing with out the gross sticky feeling of hot wax. I have super sensitive skin and when i do get my eyebrows waxed they are red for like a hour but I only got little red bumps that went away relatively fast and they did not even hurt. The sting goes away almost instantly. I would recommend it and say it is a good product especially for the cost. Rating: - I Couldn't Believe the Results!Pros: Fast results, did both legs (ankle to top of thigh) in 30 minutes. Long lasting, results lasted three weeks before I had to use it again. Leaves legs feeling smooth, no stubble. Did underarms in five minutes. Lasted three weeks before I had to use it again. Left underarms silky smooth, no stubble. Different speed settings. Easy to use. Cons: Very loud! Using accessories does not give same results as using nothing. Tips: If you have ingrown hairs before you use this, exfoliate first. If not, exfoliate after to prevent ingrown hairs. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! You are pulling your hair out by the root! It is going to hurt unless you are use to the feeling from previous epilating or waxing. Your hair grows in cycles, so you may (like me) have to use it for a week to get all the new-grown hair before you see longer lasting results. Use a towel under as there is no way for the device to catch/store the hair. Rating:  - A good alternative to waxing.I love this product. I've been using various models for the past 7 years and cannot live without it. I hate waxing and hardly have the time and patience for it. The silk epil saves me a lot of time. If you use it on hair that is not too long, it doesn't hurt very much. The only thing it doesn't prevent is in-grown hairs. |
