The Christmas Bus by: Melody Carlson

Editorial Review:
Product Description: The people of Christmas Valley always celebrate Christmas to the fullest extent. The mayor plays Santa, every business is holiday themed, and there's a nativity for the kids each Christmas Eve. This town knows Christmas. But this year nothing goes according to plan. Shepherd's Inn is full of strangers, Mad Myrtle is causing problems, and a young couple with a baby due any minute rolls in to the middle of town in their Partridge Family-style bus. It's hardly the holiday Christmas Valley wanted--but it may be just what they need. This charming novella is sure to become a new Christmas tradition for readers who love a great holiday story.
I loved this story! It's full of the Christmas Spirit and you can almost picture yourself in the town and all the town people. It's a quick read and will warm your heart.

An enjoyable quick Christmas read that reminds you that all things are possible with God. I agree with another reviewer, this story would make a great Hallmark made for TV movie. Loved the cast of characters!

This was a rather predictable Christmas story, but well written and executed. I'd like to rate it 3.5 stars, but this isn't an option!
The story is multifacted and centers on a couple in a garishly decorated bus that kind of limps to Christmas Valley, Oregon just ahead of a snowstorm. Edith and her husband who own a B&B won't be having any of their children home this year so they open up the B&B for holiday guests and a cast of quirky characters joins the couple with the bus.
Although the story was formulaic, it does provide you with some 'food' for thought about what the real meaning of Christmas is and how best to celebrate it with your own quirky angels in your life.

Light - fast and very predictable - but a fun read ----- makes one think about how all of us treat others. And the fact we should treat others good at all times - not just holidays!! You never know - do you????

This was free the day I downloaded it.
It is a predictable, formula holiday story, but with heart and warmth glowing so strongly you can almost smell the gingerbread baking.
A positive reminder of the reason for the season.
