1st & Hope is a film about an afternoon spent skating through downtown L.A. This film is dedicated to exploring an old-fashioned approach to street skating: it is not just the tricks we flic, it is also the quality of the roll. Kenny Anderson and Brian Lotti meet at the top of the hill and cruise down through the city, eventually making our way to the Staples Center. They session various spots and meet up with many old friends along the way. Brian Lotti tried to paint a picture of what it would be like to skate through a magical city with friends. People, traffic, architecture - they all add to the quality of the roll.
