1974 The Great Gatsby Soundtrack: Robert Redford by: Nelson Riddle
|
Editorial Review:
Product Description: Original motion picture soundtrack 1974. Double LP. Music by Nelson Riddle.
I was so impressed from the movie in my teens in the 1970s! The movie blew me away about F. Scott Fitzgarald's "Lost Generation" of the 1920s, just 50 years before my Grandfather's generation. To this day, some 30 odd years later in 2007, I am still impressed with the passions and expressions for their youth! Every generation has them in different fashons and even to this day I feel their soul, wantings, and lost loves. This soundtrack, as well as the movie, are timeless! My wife saw this movie on DVD while I was deployed in Iraq and was moved by the whole thing! The soundtrack and movie is timeless- even after over all the time that has passed since the time that the movie was portrayed. Surely a movie and musical score to cross the centuries! I just wish that it was in CDs.
