Editorial Review:
Product Description: No it s not a dream. In the 100th World Series championship ever played the Boston Red Sox swept the St. Louis Cardinals to become World Series Champions. For 86 years Red Sox fans cursed everthing from their luck to Babe Ruth as they watched others celebrate victory in the Fall Classic. But this year promised to be different. They swept past the heavy-hitting Anaheim Angels and then faced the New York Yankees in the ALCS. The Red Sox fell behind their archrival three games to none--and relinquished 19 runs in Game Three. Still they refused to die. Boston won the next two at Fenway Park--and completed the greatest comeback in the history of sports--at Yankee Stadium.Riding a crest of momentum Boston advanced to the World Series where they faced a St. Louis squad that had won more games than any other team in 2004. But by now the Red Sox were unstoppable--and it took just four games to capture the title and extinguish forever the talk of a curse. Rest assured Red Sox Nation. You are living a dream--a dream come true.System Requirements:Running Time 90 Mins.Format: DVD MOVIE Genre: SPORTS/GAMES UPC: 733961731590 Manufacturer No: AAE-73159
The story of 2004 was the Red Sox finally becoming World Champions ending the so called curse of the Bambino. This was a four game sweep and the Red Sox rode high with no let down after another amazing ALCS against the Yankees. Down three games to none and feeling like they were about to be swept away the Red Sox behind the clutch hitting of David Ortiz amazingly won the next four games to be the first team in any playoff series to come back from being down three games to none. For a Yankee fan like me this was extremely hard to stomach especially the bloody sock heroics of Curt Schilling.
The tape is rescued because of the coverage of the Yankee - Red Sox rivalry and the highlights of unbelievable ALCS. Members of the Red Sox Nation will love it. I am disappointed because the Yankees let a sure win slip away. Also it is kind of boring to watch the Red Sox steamroll the Cardinals and their star first baseman Albert Pujois. It was disappointing to see a good team like the Cardinals unravelled by the Red Sox.

Try it, type "hockey" under DVD (new search) and this thing will appear on the 3rd or 4th page.
Has Amazon lost its marbles, balls or pucks again?
Why is it that when you type one thing, it takes you to another?
A new selling scheme?
Otherwise, this has nothing to do with a sport of finesse, grace, guts, power, skills and speed.. not to mention the coolest sport in the world.

Just too short...should have had more footages and details against each opponents, especially against Yankees. Just shoulda had more details.

The real peeve that I have with this is it doesn't really highlight the pitching performances of Bronson Arroyo. He had a spectacular start in Boston for Game 3 of the Division Series, a miserable start against New York and then tremendous outings out of the bullpen. Maybe I'm just a Bronson Arroyo fan, but I think he deserves more credit than he got

This is one is OK, but if you are a Sox fan buy the NESN one.
