I had purchased a larger size rice cooker and it was just too big, I threw it away after a year, it took up too much space. This is just right for a family of 3 or 4, I don't waste the rice when its this size. I use it for a good Japanese pearl rice, or Indian Basmati, or Mixed wild rice, and it is perfect. I highly recommend this one, and would give it as a gift also.

Rating: - Easy-to-use, durable rice cooker
I've had this rice cooker for three years now, and I've never had a problem with it. Using it is so simple! Just put in the rice and water, and there's only one button to press down: "cook" You don't have to do anything else to it.

And even though there is no "warmer" setting, you can actually leave the rice there for a while if you need to finish up the rest of dinner, and it will stay warm. The pot and spoon are both easy to clean, and the first of these is non-stick. Great product!!

The rice cooker was exactly what I was looking for! It is easy to use, compact and easy to store, and it was moderately priced. I had absolutely no problems with it--the rice didn't stick to the bottom of the pan, and it tasted great!

Rating: - makes perfect rice for small family
I bought this rice cooker to replace the 9 yr old panasonic rice maker that i handed down to my son. The rice doesn't stick to the pan like my old model. both the old and new panasonic rice makers produce perfect rice.
